Needing more than the on-the-shoulder radio mic, I interviewed users and then developed form studies for fit and functionality. Once I found the right shape, I did a quick napkin sketch before moving to CAD over the engineering package. The end product became an integrated piece of equipment that was sold with every radio from that point forward.
